Welcome
To the parish churches of Christ the King & Holy Cross
We are a mostly rural parish which spans the border between Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire and west to the banks of the River Severn and serve Catholics in the local communities of Thornbury, Wotton-under-Edge and surrounding villages.
Our Parish has two churches, served by the Society of the Divine Saviour, the Salvatorians
and is led by our parish priest Fr George Malecki SDS assisted by our two deacons Lawrence and Kingsley.
Christ The King Church is in Thornbury, and Holy Cross Church is in Wotton-under-Edge.
If you visit Holy Cross or Christ the King churches, please make yourself known and you will be assured of a warm welcome. Don’t be shy, do come and say hello! We are always delighted to see new faces. If you would like to get involved and contribute to parish life in some way, that would really be appreciated – just have a word with Fr George or deacons Lawrence or Kingsley.

Christ The King church is open each day from 10:00am to 4:00pm for private prayer
